He is a Saint for many churches, the Catholic, the Anglican, the Lutheran, the Armenian, while in the Orthodox Church he is called Great Martyr and Triumphant, one of the most popular Saints of Christianity. His memory is celebrated on April 23; if this date falls before Easter then it is transferred to Easter Monday.
