The Synaxis of the Archangels

At the head of all Angels are the Archangels Michael and Gabriel. They are visible in important events, when the Lord sends them to realize one of His wills. They are mentioned in texts of the New and Old Testament, when the Lord decides it. Otherwise, these angelic shapes are invisible good spirits. For their visible side and the virtuous work they achieve, our church set the 8th day of November as the day to honor them.
